Oracle Java Binary License And Redistribution Agreement

On April 16, 2019, Oracle amended the java SE licensing agreement for: Oracle Binary Code License Agreement for Java SE to: Oracle Technology Network License Agreement for Oracle Java SE You can continue to use versions you downloaded under the terms of the license under which you downloaded them. Legacy versions are still available in the Java archive. Note that older versions of JRE and JDK are provided to help developers debug problems in older systems. They are not updated with the latest security patches and are not recommended for use in production. Oracle strongly recommends staying on a recent version of Java with the latest performance, stability and security updates. According to Oracle, you can distribute Java, which is bundled with your app, to users outside your organization or on an intranet that users can download internally. You can also download Java to one system and copy it to another computer, provided you own both computers. The distribution of the software is allowed as long as you do not modify or remove any components, including functionality and agreement. C. DISTRIBUTED SOFTWARE LICENSE.
